SNOP’s general purchasing has been centralised at the administrative centre in Villepinte, France. Staff at this centre deal with suppliers, framework agreements, company mobile phones, vehicles and handling equipment.
The panel of suppliers has been drawn up according to the needs of each site, but also to ensure identical standards across all sites. Thanks to optimum recourse to suppliers, the General Purchasing Department negotiates supplier rates for all SNOP sites and makes savings. Framework agreements have been signed with suppliers in order to enjoy good partnership relations in terms of both quantity and quality.
It deals with follow-up and manages the mobile phones (choice of operator and negotiation of rates), vehicles (long-term rentals, insurance and fuel cards) and handling equipment (long-term rentals and insurance).
